These positions will be available when the providers have been hired. These positions are responsible for assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a medical provider by performing the following duties: assist Physician/ARNP with direct patient care. Under direction and supervision by medical professional staff: administer injections, room patients, take vitals, record chief complaint, and assist with minor surgeries/procedures with medical provider. Must have successful completion of a minimum of one academic year of post-secondary education in a medical assisting program from an accredited educational institution, AA degree in medical assisting is preferred. 1-4 years previous work experience as a Medical Assistant, proficient in medical terminology and medical office procedures. Must possess a valid, unrestricted Medical Assisting Certification and be eligible for state health certification. Bi-lingual in Spanish highly desired.

1 Full Time Family Nurse Practitioner
Within the scope of licensure will provide medical care for patients of the clinic by: Acting as primary care provider for patients, meeting productivity and clinical measures of the clinic. Diagnoses and treats acute and chronic health problems. Provides chronic disease management. Provides preventive health care and health education. Provides family planning and reproductive health care. Provides referral to and coordination with specialty medical services. The ideal candidate will have wide clinical experience and be bi-lingual in Spanish and English. This candidate must a Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in the State of Washington, without restriction, probation, or limiting condition or threat thereof. Board certified or Board eligible in Family Practice. Possess a valid DEA unrestricted license or registration to prescribe drugs, medications,pharmaceuticals, and controlled substances. This individual must also be team oriented with good interpersonal communication skills, and possess a strong drive to provide quality care to a diverse population of patients with a variety of socioeconomic levels.
1 Full Time Internal Medicine Physician
This position provides outpatient and inpatient medical care to patients of Family Health Center; promotes positive patient relations; participates in quality assurance/improvement activities. This position is a member of the interdisciplinary clinical care team, and delivers services within the community health center model of care. Acts as Primary Care Provider for patients. Diagnoses and treats acute and chronic health problems. Provides chronic disease management. Provides preventive health care and health education. Provides referral to and coordination with specialty medical services. Provides hospital and after hours call coverage. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Washington, without restriction, probation, or limiting condition or threat thereof. Board certified in Internal Medicine. Possess a valid, unrestricted license or registration to prescribe drugs, medications, pharmaceuticals, and controlled substances. Knowledge of medical clinical standards and practices. Must be able to effectively & respectfully work with high-risk, low income, multi-ethnic patient population. Must work well and collaboratively with all staff members and be computer literate. Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
On Call Dental Assistants, Longview
The On call assignment is a 12 week assignment with possibility of extension. This position is primarily responsible for assisting the dentist during examination and dental treatment of patients. Some of the required duties are: Opening, Cleaning, sterilizing and closing the operatories and sterilization stations. Assisting dentist chair side, assisting with patient charts, maintaining all operatory supplies. This position reports to the Longview Dental Clinic Manager, and the Dental Director. Successful candidate will have one year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 years of previous dental assisting experience is required. Must possess excellent customer service skills, oral and written communication, ability to work well with others in a team setting as well as a diverse population of patients, performs exceptionally in a fast paced clinical setting, 7 hours of HIV/AIDS training. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
