Nurse Practitioner-Longview

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week within the scope of licensure will provide medical care for patients of the clinic by: Acting as primary care provider for patients, meeting productivity and clinical measures of the clinic. Diagnoses and treats acute and chronic health problems. Provides chronic disease management. Provides preventive health care and health education. Provides family planning and reproductive health care. Provides referral to and coordination with specialty medical services. The ideal candidate will have wide clinical experience and be bi-lingual in Spanish and English. This candidate must a Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in the State of Washington, without restriction, probation, or limiting condition or threat thereof. Board certified or Board eligible in Family Practice. Possess a valid DEA unrestricted license or registration to prescribe drugs, medications, pharmaceuticals, and controlled substances. This individual must also be team oriented with good interpersonal communication skills, and possess a strong drive to provide quality care to a diverse population of patients with a variety of socioeconomic.

Physician Internal Medicine or Family Medicine no OB-Longview

This position provides outpatient and inpatient medical care to patients of Family Health Center; promotes positive patient relations; participates in quality assurance/improvement activities. This position is a member of the interdisciplinary clinical care team, and delivers services within the community health center model of care. Acts as Primary Care Provider for patients. Diagnoses and treats acute and chronic health problems. Provides chronic disease management. Provides preventive health care and health education.  Provides referral to and coordination with specialty medical services. Provides hospital and after hours call coverage.   Must be licensed to practice in the State of Washington, without restriction, probation, or limiting condition or threat thereof.  Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Possess a valid, unrestricted license or registration to prescribe drugs, medications, pharmaceuticals, and controlled substances. Knowledge of medical clinical standards and practices. Must be able to effectively & respectfully work with high-risk, low income, multi-ethnic patient population. Must work well and collaboratively with all staff members and be computer literate. Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.  

On Call Medical Assistant-Longview

Responsible for assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a medical provider by performing the following duties: assist Physician/ARNP with direct patient care. Under direction and supervision by medical professional staff: administer injections, room patients, take vitals, record chief complaint, and assist with minor surgeries/procedures with medical provider. Must have successful completion of a minimum of one academic year of post-secondary education in a medical assisting program from an accredited educational institution, AA degree in medical assisting is preferred. 1-4 years previous work experience as a Medical Assistant, proficient in medical terminology and medical office procedures. Must possess a valid, unrestricted Medical Assisting Certification or be eligible for state health certification. 

 

On Call Medical Receptionist-Longview
The on call position is utilized to cover vacations and sick leave. In performing duties of this position you would be responsible for providing excellent customer service to FHC patients at the medical clinic front desk.  Will provide essential clerical work and backup support in a fast-paced, productive environment to include, but not limited to:  greeting patients, scheduling appointments, compiling and recording patient charts, reports, and correspondence, assisting patients in completion of medical history and other pertinent informational forms required. You will confirm patient insurance eligibility with various insurance companies.  Successful candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 years previous experience in customer service, administrative office support in a medical/dental office setting preferred, with basic medical terminology.  Proficiency of Microsoft Internet Explorer or equivalent Internet software and Microsoft Office: Word, and Excel, typing speed of minimum 35 WPM. Bi Lingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Part Time Dentist-Longview

This position is needed to provide dental care for patients of the clinic from 8am-5pm Wednesdays and every other Monday at our Longview, WA clinic. Additional hours may be available. Successful candidates will have minimum 1-2 yrs previous experience.  Must possess license to practice as Dentist in the State of Washington, without restriction, probation, or limiting condition or threat thereof. Possess a valid, unrestricted license or registration to prescribe drugs, medications, pharmaceuticals, and controlled substances.  Must also have excellent interpersonal skills, able to treat patients of all ages, and be computer proficient. Previous experience with EPIC or other EMR system preferred.  eet productivity and clinical standards of the clinic. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic dental problems. Provide chronic disease management. Provide preventive dental care and dental education. Provide referral assistance to specialty dental services. 

Full Time Dental Assistant-Longview

This position works Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and is primarily responsible for assisting the dentist during examination and dental treatment of patients. Some of the required duties are: Opening, Cleaning, sterilizing and closing the operatories and sterilization stations. You will assist dentist chair side, assisting with patient charts, maintaining all operatory supplies. This position reports to the Longview Dental Clinic Manager, and the Dental Director.   Successful candidate will have one year certificate from college or technical school and 1-3 years general dentistry experience. A current Washington State registration required. Must possess excellent customer service skills, oral and written communication, ability to work well with others in a team setting as well as a diverse population of patients, perform exceptionally in a fast paced clinical setting, 7 hours of HIV/AIDS training.

Lay Health Worker-Woodland

 

The lay health worker will perform many duties including but not limited to front desk/reception, essential clerical work, backup support, medical records, patient follow up and community outreach.

Successful candidate will have High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Administrative support/office experience, preferably in a medical setting. Proficient skills in data entry and word processing with a minimum of 35 WPW. Knowledgeable with computers. Proficient in delivering exceptional customer service to our customers. Demonstrate proficiency in oral and written communication. Demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, and be highly dependable. Some knowledge or background in Health Care and Health plans. Must be multi-tasked and highly efficient in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to effectively present information in one to one and/or small groups, situations with customers, and other employees. Basic medical terminology. Ability to work independently and be self motivated. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Very strongly prefer bilingual English/Spanish. Please note, this role is new, and the job duties and actual title may change slightly.
